Most of us have experienced the anxiety that comes from being the "new kid" at some point in our lives and we want to make your first visit as easy as possible. One way to accomplish that is to give you an idea of what to expect.
First, come as you are - there's no dress code. While we encourage modesty, we want you to be comfortable. Second, while we usally stand during worship and prayer, it is not required. Once again, we want you to be comfortable. Third, you will find our music is a blend of traditional and contempary. Our hope is you will find songs that bless you.
We gather in the sanctuary at 10:00 am. Usually, there will be a short time of announcements, prayer and worship after which we will disperse to our classes. Sunday School will be dismissed at 10:55 am.
Morning worship begins at 11:00 am. A typical service consists of a greeting, announcements, worship music, a message and then ending with a time for prayer. However, we are very open to the leading of the Holy Spirit and all Sunday's do not follow the typical order.
We love kids! Our Sunday School and Children's Ministry begins at approximatly age 3. On the first Sunday of the month, we have Family Church during Morning Worship and do not have a separate service for the children. We do have a nursery available with a window to the sanctuary and a sound system if needed.
